Manufacturing oil expeller machine spare parts

At Nilsan, we manufacture and export various spare parts of an oil expeller and mini oil mill. Each component complies with international quality standards. Some of these parts include kettle, main shaft, gears, worms, bearings, barrel, cutter, cone, and collar. Our screw shaft and gear assembly work together to efficiently rotate the cage within the expeller.

Working principle of oil expeller machines

Oil expeller machines extract oil from seeds and nuts using a powerful screw mechanism. A revolving worm inside the barrel continuously pushes the oilseeds, creating high pressure. This pressure forces the oil out of the seeds through small holes in the barrel, separating it from the solid matter. The process yields two products: crude oil and oilcake, a solid byproduct.
While the expeller press itself is a mechanical process, optimizing oil yield relies heavily on proper seed preparation. Even with the ideal screw configuration, poorly prepared seeds won't release their oil as efficiently. Simply heating the seeds isn't enough. There's a specific "cooking" process that optimizes the seeds for oil extraction, and it goes beyond just raising the temperature.
Some Types Of Seed that will Press by Machine:- (For Reference)
  • Peanuts
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Soybeans Seed
  • Seasame
  • Safflower
  • Mustard seeds
  • Flaxseeds
  • Coconut
  • Castor Seeds
  • Almond
Our screw press machines can handle a wide range of seeds and nuts. This includes castor beans, coconuts/copra, cotton seeds, peanuts, sunflower seeds, jatropha seeds, mustard seeds (rapeseed/canola), neem seeds, palm kernel, sesame seeds, shea nuts, soybeans, flax seeds, and karanjia seeds, among others. Oilseeds and nuts come in all shapes and sizes, with varying oil and moisture content. This means the ideal oil mill processing approach might differ slightly for each type. While there's no one-size-fits-all solution, most oilseeds, nuts, and kernels generally undergo a series of common steps to extract the oil:
Cleaning
Eliminating contaminants such as dirt, debris, and foreign objects.
Drying
Lowering moisture content to enhance the extraction and preservation of oil.
Size reduction
It is the process of crushing or grinding seeds to release more oil from their surface area.
Flaking (Optional)
Creating thin flakes to further enhance oil extraction efficiency (applicable to some seeds).
Cooking
Using heat to enhance the flow and quality of oil (used for specific seeds).
Tempering
Changing the temperature and moisture content to provide the best pressing conditions.

Benefits of using oil expeller in an oil extraction plant

In the world of oil extraction, the oil expeller machine in addition to automatic commercial oil press machine plays a pivotal role.It provides factors crucial to your business, like production capacity and the quality of your finished oil.
Through years of dedication to research and development, we've used our technical expertise and modern technology to design high performing oil press machines. We've analyzed key parameters like worm design, cage rotation, and screw taper to optimize the extraction process

Modes of operation in a oil expeller

Oil expellers offer two main operating modes: cold pressing and hot pressing. The key difference lies in the temperature of the oilseeds during processing.
Cold Pressing In this method, the oilseeds are fed directly into the machine without any preheating. This preserves the natural qualities of the oil, including its flavor, nutrients, and antioxidants. The resulting oil cake, a byproduct of the pressing process, is also of higher quality due to the minimal cellular damage. Hot Pressing Here, the oilseeds are preheated before entering the expeller press. While this method increases the oil yield, it comes at the expense of oil quality. The high temperatures can damage the seed cells, leading to a lower nutritional profile in the oil and a less valuable oil cake.
